Dr. Benjamin Bowman

Chief Executive Officer / Chairman of the Board

Dr. Benjamin Bowman earned his DDS from the University of Oklahoma in 2007. After years within traditional DSOs, he saw a recurring problem: talented dentists were being devalued as business partners and denied a clear path to true ownership. He realized the industry was missing a leader who understood both the precision of clinical work and the complexity of business—someone who could build a model where doctors didn't have to choose between the two.

In 2012, Dr. Bowman began building that alternative, eventually founding Enhance Dental in 2018. His vision was to create a premier partnership group that is truly "for doctors, by doctors." Under his leadership, Enhance has grown to 43 practices across five states by allowing dentists to maintain ownership and clinical autonomy while shedding the stress of administrative management. Today, Dr. Bowman remains dedicated to providing the mentorship and corporate scale that helps fellow dentists realize their own clinical and financial aspirations.

Kelli Howard

Chief Operating Officer / Board Member

Kelli joined Enhance Dental in 2020, bringing a career-long focus on improving organizational performance through the implementation of systems and processes. Drawing on a corporate career where she specialized in transforming underperforming departments and supported the integration of $29B in transactions, she established the organizational structure and operational discipline that allowed Enhance to double in size during her tenure.

As COO, Kelli oversees practice operations and leads the Marketing, Technical Services, Facilities, and Procurement teams. Her focus is on building a foundation of cultural and operational excellence ensuring every doctor has the steady support they need to focus on their patients and while their business thrives and grows.

Dr. Jonathan Clarke

Board Member

Dr. Clarke graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2011 and in 2012 he partnered with Dr. Bowman to open Choctaw Dental. In 2015, they opened a second practice, Harrah Dentistry and Braces. In 2018 he became a founding partner of Enhance Dental and has served on the board since. At that time, he sold his ownership in the Choctaw and Harrah practices to the current owners/operating doctors. Dr. Clarke now serves as a full-time Owner doctor at Midwest City Family Dentistry. He has also stepped in at multiple Enhance offices to fill needs and to mentor and support our newer doctors and clinics.

Dr. James Joern

Board Member

Dr. Joern graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2012. Shortly after graduation he partnered with Dr. Bowman to acquire a small practice in El Reno, Oklahoma. El Reno Dental has grown to be a $2M/year practice. In 2018 he became a founding partner of Enhance Dental and has served on the board since. He continues to practice dentistry full-time at El Reno Dental and in July 2021 relocated his practice to a new 12 operatory facility.
